Growing up, nearly every family gathering that I can recall was always centered around food. Christmas, New Year's Eve, birthdays and any type of celebrations were always surrounded by food. Growing up in this environment has taught and shown me how food connects or gather people. In this environment is where I found my love for cooking and eventually using those memories as inspiration for my dishes. The dishes I make not only connects me to my past and my culture but its purpose is also to help connect the people that I am serving my dish to, may it be in the streets, someone's home or a restaurant, the food that i want to create gathers everyone in the same time, the same place and creates perfect memories that lasts a lifetime.
